Frosted Gun

Frosted Gun Overview

About Frosted Gun

Frosted is a common gun added during Christmas Event 2019, which ran from December 23, 2019 to January 13, 2020. Players unboxed it from the 2019 Christmas Box, which cost 600 Snow Tokens or 1 Snow Key per open, and Frosted had a 70% pull rate, the same as every other Common item in the box. The box could only be opened during the event, so Frosted Gun is now trading only.

Appearance and Best Pairings

Frosted looks like the Default Gun with frost on the tip of the barrel and on part of the frame and handle, which is where the name comes from. Frosted pairs with its knife counterpart, Frosted Knife, as part of the Frosted Set. For a knife to carry with it, Whiteout is a good match, since its plain silver-grey blade fits the grey frosted look of the gun.

Frosted Gun Background

Christmas Event 2019 had a Main Event with 30 tiers that cost 600 Snow Tokens each, and it ended with the ancient knife Logchopper at tier 30 for 70,000 Snow Tokens. The partner knife of Frosted was the tier 2 reward of that Main Event, while Frosted itself only dropped from the box. Here is every item in the 2019 Christmas Box with its drop chance:

• Gifts Gun - Common - 70%

• Frosted - Common - 70%

• Snowflakes Knife (2019) - Common - 70%

• Pine Gun - Common - 70%

• Frozen Knife (2019) - Uncommon - 15%

• Gingerbread Gun (2019) - Uncommon - 15%

• Lights Knife (2019) - Uncommon - 15%

• Aurora Gun (2019) - Rare - 10%

• Candy Swirl Knife - Rare - 10%

• Cavern Gun - Legendary - 5%

• Minty - Godly - 0.2%

Frosted shares its 70% pull rate with Gifts Gun, Snowflakes Knife (2019), and Pine Gun, which makes the four Common items the most frequent drops in the box. Minty is the only Godly in the box at 0.2%, and Cavern Gun is the only Legendary at 5%. Seven of the eleven items are guns, and the other four are knives.
