About Chroma Evergun
Chroma Evergun is the chroma version of the godly gun Evergun. It was originally obtainable through the Gifting Center during the 2023 Christmas Event. Now that the event has ended, the only way to get it is through trading. Like every other chroma weapon, it can't be broken down at the crafting station.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Evergun takes the shape of a decorated evergreen Christmas tree built into the form of a gun. A gold star sits at the top where the muzzle would be, and a rainbow-colored ribbon wraps diagonally around the tree-shaped body from top to bottom, layered over the green branches. Small colored lights in red, cyan, purple, and pink are scattered across it, poking out between the ribbon and branches. The dark brown trunk at the base forms the handle, textured to look like real bark.
Chroma Evergun pairs with the chroma knife Chroma Evergreen to form the Chroma Evergreen Set, and it's considered one of the Rarest Guns in MM2. matching it's counter part in both the tree design and the rainbow color scheme.
Chroma Evergun Background
Before the 2023 Christmas Event released, Chroma Evergun and Chroma Evergreen were both known internally under the placeholder name "Chroma Tree." Chroma Evergun is also one of only three guns in the game without a trigger guard, alongside its regular counterpart Evergun and the gun Blaster.
Despite being sold and used together as a set, Chroma Evergun and Chroma Evergreen actually came from two different sources during the event. Chroma Evergreen was pulled from the 2023 Christmas Box, while Chroma Evergun came from the Gifting Center.
In February 2024, Chroma Evergreen was hit by duping in what became known as the Evergreen Glitch, which dropped its value heavily. Since the two items are usually sold and used together as a set, the drop affected Chroma Evergun's value as well, even though the gun itself wasn't the item duped. In the 2025 Summer Event, Chroma Evergun received the FX tag along with Evergun, Evergreen, and Chroma Evergreen. Current trade trackers put it around 52,000 with High demand.
