About Logchopper
Logchopper is an ancient knife that was originally obtainable at Tier 30 of the Christmas Event 2019 Main Event, where each of the 30 tiers cost 600 Snow Tokens, and the last one demanded 70,000 Snow Tokens on top to claim the knife itself, during an event that ran from December 23, 2019 to January 13, 2020.
Now that the event has ended, trading is the only way to add Logchopper to an inventory. It pairs with the godly gun Minty to form the Logchopper Set, and it holds the distinction of being the first ancient weapon in MM2 that isn't a scythe.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Logchopper takes the shape of a double bladed axe with silver, jagged blades edged in red and white candy cane stripes. A gold ball sits at the center where the blades meet, capped with a red spike pointing up. The handle is a striped red and white shaft, like a candy cane, ending in a gold base with small green leaf details near the bottom. It pairs with the godly gun Minty to form the Logchopper Set.
Logchopper Background
Logchopper broke a long pattern in MM2's ancient tier. Every ancient before it had taken the shape of a scythe, and it was the second Christmas ancient added overall, after Icewing the year before. The axe shape it introduced went on to define several later ancients, including Icebreaker the following Christmas, then Swirly Axe, Traveler's Axe, and Vampire's Axe in the years after.
The event's own Token Collecting leaderboard handed out Blue, Bronze, Silver, and Gold reskins of Logchopper to its top finishers, running alongside a separate Gift Giving leaderboard that rewarded the same tiers of Minty instead. Players who wanted more than either leaderboard prize could give 100 Gifts through the event's Gifting Center for a guaranteed Lugercane. Current trade trackers put it around 18 with Low demand.
