About Chroma Bauble
Chroma Bauble is a chroma gun that was originally obtainable during the 2024 Christmas Event, not through a crate but through the Gifting Center. Giving 100 Gifts to other players unlocked a shot at Bauble, and roughly 1 in 50 of those attempts landed the chroma version instead. It's the chroma counterpart of the godly gun Bauble, and now that the event has ended, trading is the only way left to get one.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Bauble takes the shape of an ornate revolver with a pearl white frame. The barrel carries a checkered magenta and purple panel along the top with a chrome tube running through it that fades from pink to blue. In place of the cylinder and hammer sits a swirled teal and green bauble ornament, with a lime green star jutting out beside it. The grip shifts through a green-to-red gradient dotted with small white polka dots, and that shifting color pattern across the barrel, bauble, and grip is what sets it apart from the plain, single-color look of the regular Bauble.
Its matching piece is Chroma Ornament, the knife it partners with to form the Chroma Bauble Set. Wearing both together keeps the shifting color effect consistent across the loadout instead of pairing it with a plain, single-color knife.
Chroma Bauble Background
Chroma Bauble was one of only a few chroma weapons handed out through gifting instead of a crate, alongside Chroma Evergun and Chroma Ornament. Getting one meant working through 100 gifts during the 2024 Christmas Event, with the chroma version showing up on top of that at around a 1 in 50 rate.
Its value has stayed fairly steady since the event ended. It's currently trading around 29,000 with High demand, close to its original estimated value. Unlike some of MM2's other Christmas chromas, Chroma Bauble hasn't been tied to any major duping incident or value crash, its price moves have stayed in normal market territory.
