About Chroma Vampire's Gun
Chroma Vampire's Gun is a chroma gun that was originally obtainable by unboxing the 2024 Halloween Box during that year's Halloween Event. It's the chroma counterpart of the godly gun Vampire's Gun, pulled from the same crate alongside the legendary Cursed Gun. It's counted as the tenth holiday chroma released in the game and the fifth tied to a Halloween event. Now that the event is over, trading is the only way to get one, and like every other chroma weapon, it can't be broken down at the crafting station.
Appearance and Best Pairings
The gun keeps the same pathbringer-style shape as the regular Vampire's Gun, but the color treatment is completely different. Instead of the base gun's reddish body with gold trim and a blood-red texture on the barrel, the chroma version runs a full color gradient from violet at the muzzle through blue and green, into yellow and orange, finishing in red near the grip. Dark, vein-like swirls are etched across the barrel and cylinder on top of that gradient, giving it a textured look rather than a flat color shift.
Its natural pairing is Vampire's Axe, the ancient knife that partners with the base Vampire's Gun to form the Vampire's Set. For a fuller loadout, it also fits alongside Vampire's Edge as part of the Full Vampire's Set.
Chroma Vampire's Gun Background
Chroma Vampire's Gun came out of the 2024 Halloween Box alongside its non-chroma counterpart, Vampire's Gun, and the legendary Cursed Gun. The godly version sat at a 0.2% unboxing rate, while the chroma version dropped at the far lower 0.004% rate that applies to chroma weapons.
Its value has held steady since the event ended. It's currently trading around 24,500 with High demand, in line with its original estimated value, and it hasn't been tied to any major duping incident the way some of MM2's other holiday chromas have.
