About Shadow Knife (Vintage)
Shadow is a vintage knife that was originally sold in the Murder Mystery 1 shop for 3,000 Points or 125 Cash. In that game, pressing Q gave the murderer 6 seconds of stealth with a 15-second cooldown, and attacking broke the stealth early.
Murder Mystery 1 was replaced by Murder Mystery 2 on December 25, 2014, and its shop is gone, so trading is the only way to get Shadow now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Shadow is a katana-style knife with a long, thin, curved dark blade marked with a purple flame pattern. It has a golden guard, and the thin violet handle ends in small gold rings.
It belongs to the Shadow (Vintage) Set with Shadow (Gun, 2026), a black gun with a purple handle, gold accents, and purple flames along the barrel. Shadow is also part of the Vintage Set, so it works with the set's other guns, which are Laser, America, Phaser, Cowboy, and Golden. Golden is the closest visual match, since its gold finish picks up the knife's golden guard.

Shadow's model comes from the Roblox gear Dual Katana's of the DarkAge Clan, which was reshaped into a single blade and recolored in purple and gold.
Shadow was one of the most expensive items in the Murder Mystery 1 shop. At 3,000 Points or 125 Cash, it cost the same as the Golden Gun, and only the Blood Knife cost more at 4,000 Points or 175 Cash. The cheapest knives, Splitter and the other early ones, cost only 800 Points or 5 Cash.
Players who bought Shadow before the switch to Murder Mystery 2 kept it as a vintage weapon. Like every vintage weapon, it can't be broken down at the crafting station. Its partner gun came much later, when the legendary Shadow Gun was added in 2026 as part of the Retro Bundle, which sells for 799 Robux.
