Use BloxSwaps DevEx calculator to convert Robux to USD at the current Roblox DevEx rate.
What Is the Roblox DevEx Calculator?
Roblox DevEx calculator is a tool that converts Robux into US dollars using the exchange rate Roblox applies to Developer Exchange cash-outs. Enter an amount of Robux, and it shows what that balance pays out in USD. You can check a payout for 30,000 Robux or for several million before you submit anything to Roblox.
DevEx stands for Developer Exchange. It is the only official way to turn Robux into real money, and it only works with Earned Robux. That covers Robux made from game passes, developer products, subscriptions, private servers, Marketplace sales, and similar creator income. Robux you bought, redeemed from a gift card, or received as a monthly Premium grant does not count.
Current Roblox DevEx Rates in 2026
Roblox pays $0.0038 per Earned Robux at the standard rate. That puts 30,000 Robux at $114. This rate applies to Robux earned after September 5, 2025. Robux earned before that date still cash out at the older rate of $0.0035, which pays $105 for 30,000 Robux. Roblox pays out those older balances first, so you cannot skip them to reach the newer rate.
The third rate is the U.S. 18+ DevEx rate of $0.0054 per Robux, live since June 8, 2026. It applies to Earned Robux from developer products, passes, subscriptions, and private servers bought by US players who verified their age as 18 or older. The game also has to meet Roblox’s eligibility rules for player characters. Only the qualifying part of your balance cashes out at this rate, and the rest stays at the standard rate.
Note: Roblox can change these rates at any time, so check the Creator Hub before you plan a large cash out.
How to Use the Robux to USD Calculator
Converting your Robux takes a few seconds. Follow these steps to get your USD value:
Enter the amount of Robux you want to convert.
The calculator multiplies that amount by the DevEx rate.
Check the USD value shown in the result.
Change the amount to compare different balances, such as 50,000 Robux against 100,000 Robux.
The result is a gross figure. Tax and any fees from your payment method are not included. Roblox also requires at least 30,000 Earned Robux for a cash-out request, so a result below that amount shows a value but not a payout you can claim yet.
Robux to USD Examples
The table below shows what common Robux amounts are worth at the standard DevEx rate of $0.0038 and at the U.S. 18+ rate of $0.0054.
Robux | Standard Rate ($0.0038) | U.S. 18+ Rate ($0.0054) |
|---|---|---|
1,000 | $3.80 | $5.40 |
10,000 | $38 | $54 |
30,000 | $114 | $162 |
100,000 | $380 | $540 |
1 million | $3,800 | $5,400 |
18 million | $68,400 | $97,200 |
Amounts below 30,000 Robux show a value but not a payout you can claim yet, since that is the minimum for cashing out. The U.S. 18+ rate only covers qualifying earnings, so a real payout can land anywhere between the two columns depending on how much of your income qualifies.
DevEx Requirements
Roblox sets the following requirements before it accepts a cash out request:
You must be at least 13 years old
You must hold a minimum of 30,000 Earned Robux
You need a verified email address
You need a valid DevEx Portal account
You need a tax form on file, which is a W-9 for US taxpayers or a W-8 for everyone else
Your account must stay in full compliance with Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards
Some older guides list higher minimums, but the current requirement is 30,000 Earned Robux. Roblox reviews every request after submission, so meeting these requirements does not guarantee approval. Requests can be rejected for scamming, account theft, name mismatches, or missing payment details in the DevEx Portal.
How to Cash Out Robux Through DevEx
Follow these steps to submit a DevEx request and receive your payout.
Open the Creator Hub, select Finances from the left menu, and then DevEx.
Click the Cash Out button in the top right corner.
Fill in the form with your legal name, enter the amount of Robux you want to exchange, and agree to the terms.
Click Cash Out at the bottom of the page. Roblox removes that amount from your account and starts the review.
If this is your first time and Roblox approves the request, check your email for an invitation to create a DevEx Portal account.
Add your payment method and tax form within one week of receiving the invitation. Otherwise Roblox declines the request and refunds your Robux.
Wait for the DevEx team to process your payment.
If Roblox rejects the request, the Robux return to your account immediately. Processing takes around 10 business days for first-time users and around 5 business days for returning users, and the DevEx team does not work on weekends or holidays. Your bank may add extra time on top of that.
DevEx Value vs the Robux Store Price
Many people search for Robux to dollars expecting the price they see in the Robux store. The two numbers are far apart. Players pay a much higher price per Robux when they buy it than creators receive when they cash out. The table below compares the US website packages with what the same amount of Earned Robux pays at the standard DevEx rate of $0.0038.
Robux Package | Store Price | DevEx Value (Standard Rate) |
|---|---|---|
500 | $4.99 | $1.90 |
1,000 | $9.99 | $3.80 |
2,000 | $19.99 | $7.60 |
5,250 | $49.99 | $19.95 |
11,000 | $99.99 | $41.80 |
24,000 | $199.99 | $91.20 |
Prices shown are US website prices. Mobile and console purchases give fewer Robux for the same price, and Roblox can change its packages at any time.
Every package costs more than twice what the same Robux would pay through DevEx. The DevEx rate only values what creators earn, and Robux you buy cannot be cashed out at all, since DevEx only accepts earned Robux.
