About Ornament2 Gun
Ornament2 is a common gun that was added during the Christmas Event 2015. Players unboxed it from the 2015 Christmas Gun Box, which cost 30 Gifts per box, or 75 Gifts before the official release on December 19, 2015. It had a 70% pull rate, the same as every other Common weapon in the box. The event ended on January 8, 2016, so Ornament2 is trading only now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Ornament2 is a blue revolver covered in golden vintage designs and snowflakes, so it looks like a Christmas ornament, and the accents use the same gold color. It pairs with its knife counterpart, Ornament2 Knife, as part of the Ornament2 Set. For a knife that matches the gun, Celestial is a good pick because it is a dark blue chakram with golden stars and golden edges, so the blue and gold colors line up.
Ornament2 Gun Background
Ornament2 came out on December 14, 2015, when the Christmas Event 2015 pre-release started. The 2015 Christmas Gun Box was one of the first Christmas weapon boxes in MM2, and it was only available during that event. Boxes cost 75 Gifts during the pre-release from December 14 to December 19, then dropped to 30 Gifts after the official release. This box and the 2015 Christmas Knife Box were also the first and last event boxes that held only one type of weapon, and this one held guns.
Here is every item in the 2015 Christmas Gun Box with its drop chance:
Santa Gun (2015) - Common - 70%
Elf Gun (2015) - Common - 70%
Ornament1 Gun - Common - 70%
Ornament2 Gun - Common - 70%
Nutcracker - Uncommon - 15%
Snowman Gun (2015) - Uncommon - 15%
Wrapped Gun (2015) - Uncommon - 15%
Ginger Gun (2015) - Rare - 10%
Cane Gun (2015) - Rare - 10%
Tree Gun (2015) - Legendary - 5%
Ornament2 shares its 70% drop chance with the Santa, Elf, and Ornament1 guns, so it was one of four Common guns in the box. Any single Common gun was far easier to unbox than the Rare, Legendary, or Godly ones. The box closed when the event ended, so every gun from it is trading only today.
