About Sugar
Sugar is a godly gun that was originally unboxed from the 2015 Christmas Gun Box, one of two separate crates that opened alongside Christmas Event 2015's official release on December 19, 2015. Each crate cost 30 Gifts to open, down from an initial 75 Gifts during the event's earlier pre-release window, and Sugar sat as the Gun Box's own secret godly on top of its regular reward pool.
Trading is now the only way to add Sugar to an inventory, since Christmas Event 2015 ended on January 8, 2016. It forms the Candy Set with Candy, the godly knife pulled from that same event's separate Knife Box.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Sugar takes the shape of a minigun with three barrels styled as red and white candy canes, held together by solid red barrel clamps. The largest clamp carries gold stars and small Christmas lights, the rotor is solid red with matching gold stars, and the handle is black with red lines running through it.
Its official Set partner is Candy, the classic candy-cane knife from the same event. For a second pairing, Cane Knife works well too, another red and white candy cane knife with the same holiday color scheme.
Sugar Background
Christmas Event 2015 introduced seven godly items total, more than any single MM2 event since, and Sugar was one of them alongside Candy, the direct-purchase knife Xmas, and four recipe-crafted godlies (Chill, Handsaw, Red Luger, and Green Luger).
Sugar's design comes from the limited Roblox gear Candy Cane Launcher, reworked slightly so it could be held like a standard gun. When salvaged at the crafting station, it yields 255 godly shards. Its inventory preview also used to show the weapon upside-down, a bug that stuck around until the Season 1 update fixed it.
Three years after its release, Sugar picked up its own set of Leaderboard trophies. Placing on Christmas Event 2018's leaderboard awarded a Blue, Bronze, Silver, or Gold Sugar depending on rank, tying a 2015 weapon to an entirely separate event's rewards.
