About Portal Knife
Portal is a rare knife added during the Halloween Event 2020, which started on October 26, 2020, and ended on November 22, 2020. Players got it by opening the Halloween Box, which cost 600 Candies or 1 Pumpkin Key, and Portal had a 10% pull rate in that box. Candies could only be collected by playing rounds, so every box took real time to earn. The event is over, and the box is gone, so Portal is now trading only.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Portal has a black frame with a silver outline and small triangular points along the edge. Inside the frame is a red swirly portal, and the knife has a silver guard and a black handle with two silver beams and a screw in the center. Portal pairs with its gun counterpart, Portal Gun, as part of the Portal Set. For a gun outside the set, Swirly Gun is a good match, since its dark gray body and red swirly straps echo the black frame and red portal of the knife.
Portal Knife Background
Halloween Event 2020 was the sixth Halloween event in Murder Mystery 2, and it ran from October 26 to November 22, 2020. Players collected Candies during rounds and spent them on the Halloween Box, on Main Event tiers, or on other event rewards. The box could also be opened with a Pumpkin Key.

Portal is one of two Rare items in the box, and only Ripper Gun and Hallowgun sit above it in rarity. Its gun counterpart did not come from the box because Portal Gun was a Main Event reward at tier 9, which cost 4,800 Candies in total at 600 Candies per tier, with tier 1 free. The Portal Set was also the first set in the game to have two different rarities, since the gun is Uncommon and the knife is Rare.
