About Hallowgun
Hallowgun is a godly gun that was originally obtainable by unboxing it from the 2020 Halloween Box during the Halloween Event 2020, which ran from October 26 to November 22, 2020, the first MM2 event ever split into two parts. Opening the box cost a Pumpkin Key or 600 Candies, and Hallowgun carried a 0.2% chance alongside nine other knives and guns packed into that same box. Trading is now the only way to add Hallowgun to a collection, since the event has long since ended.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Hallowgun is a revolver with three spikes twisting around the barrel, running from an ombre yellow into orange along the barrel itself while the cylinder stays a plain silver. The bottom of the handle and the trigger both carry a silver lining that ties the piece together. The clear pairing is its own Set partner, Hallowscythe, an ancient knife pulled from the same event. Equipping both completes the Hallow Set for a matched Halloween 2020 loadout.
Hallowgun Background
Hallowgun was the third godly gun in a row to come out of a holiday box, following Elderwood Revolver in 2019 and Minty before it, a streak that continued right after with Iceblaster in the Christmas 2020 box. It was designed by IDontHaveAUse, the same designer behind its Set partner Hallowscythe.
The 2020 Halloween Box packed nine other weapons alongside Hallowgun at their own separate odds:
Carved Knife, Watcher Knife, Candle Knife, and Candy Corn Gun, all common at 70%
Pumpkin Knife, Ghosts Knife, and Mummy Gun, uncommon at 15%
Bones Knife and Portal Knife, rare at 10%
Ripper, a legendary gun at 5%
Getting Hallowgun meant clearing that entire drop table first, since every other weapon in the box had a better chance than its 0.2%.
