Frostfade Knife

Frostfade Knife Overview

About Frostfade Knife

Frostfade Knife is a legendary knife that was the Tier 19 reward of the Christmas Event 2023 Battle Pass. The pass had 20 tiers, and every tier from 2 to 20 cost 800 Snow Tokens, so reaching Tier 19 took 14,400 Snow Tokens. The event ran from December 20, 2023, to February 2, 2024. The event has ended, so trading is now the only way to get it. It is the knife half of the Frostfade Set.

Appearance and Best Pairings

Frostfade Knife uses the default knife model with a blue blade that fades into purple at the bottom. A metal finish is engraved onto the guard, and it continues onto the base of the blade and the top of the handle. Frostfade Knife belongs to the Frostfade Set, so its best pairing is its Set partner, Frostfade Gun. The gun fades from bright blue into darker blue and has a silver pattern on the handle, so the two look like a matching loadout.

Frostfade Knife Background

Frostfade Knife was one of the last Battle Pass rewards in the event, sitting at Tier 19, one tier below the ancient Gingerscope. Gingerscope cost 98,000 Snow Tokens. One other item shares its name: the Frostfade Gun, a legendary gun from the same event. The gun was not a tier reward.

It was unboxed from the 2023 Christmas Box, which cost 800 Snow Tokens or 1 Snow Key to open, with a 5% chance of landing it. Both items are legendary and belong to the same Set, so check which one is in a trade before accepting it. In 2024, players found a way to duplicate items. Dupers copied Evergreen, Chroma Evergreen, and other Christmas weapons, including the Frostfade Gun.
