About Frostflame Knife
Frostflame is a rare knife in MM2 that came from the Battle Pass during the Christmas Event 2024. Players unlocked it by buying tier 17 of the 20 tiers. Tier 1 is free, and each tier after it costs 800 Snow Tokens, so reaching Frostflame cost 12,800 Snow Tokens in total. The event ran from December 20, 2024 to February 1, 2025. The Battle Pass is over now, so trading is the only way to get Frostflame.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Frostflame has a black base with glowing blue flame patterns partly covering the blade and handle. It pairs with its gun counterpart, Frostflame Gun, as part of the Frostflame Set. For another gun that fits the same look, Iceblaster is a good match because its icy blue body and dark grip echo the blue glow on a dark base.
Frostflame Knife Background
Frostflame arrived with Christmas Event 2024, which started on December 20, 2024, and ended on February 1, 2025. The event had a Christmas-themed lobby designed by Zyleak, a toy-store-styled voting room, and a new map called Christmas In Italy. Its Battle Pass had 20 tiers, with tier 1 free and tiers 2 to 20 costing 800 Snow Tokens each. After the final tier, players could buy the ancient knife Celestial for 98,000 Snow Tokens.
Frostflame sits at tier 17, close to the end of the pass, so a player had to buy tiers 2 to 17 first, which came to 12,800 Snow Tokens. The gun counterpart took a different route, since it only came from the 2024 Christmas Box, which cost 800 Snow Tokens or 1 Snow Key per opening, with a 10% pull rate. That means a player who wanted both parts of the set had to finish most of the Battle Pass and open boxes in the same event. The event is over now, so a player who missed it can only get Frostflame by trading.
