About Iceblaster
Iceblaster is a godly gun that was originally unboxed from the 2020 Christmas Box, added when the Christmas Event 2020 fully released on December 23, 2020. The box cost 800 Snow Tokens or 1 Snow Key to open, and Iceblaster sat at the top of an eleven-item pool with its godly odds unlisted, at 0.2% like every holiday box godly of that era. It was the fourth godly gun in a row to top a holiday box, following Elderwood Revolver from Halloween Event 2019, Minty from Christmas Event 2019, and Hallowgun from Halloween Event 2020.
Trading is now the only way to add Iceblaster to an inventory, since Christmas Event 2020 ended on January 13, 2021. It forms the Full Ice Set with Icebreaker and Icepiercer, though all three came from different events through different obtain methods rather than one shared release.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Iceblaster resembles a revolver with its barrel encased in ice. The body is mostly purple, with icy blue highlights running across the cylinder and into the ice around the barrel, and a silver trigger. Its official Set partner is Icebreaker, the ancient knife pulled from the same event's Main Event tier ladder. For a second pairing option, Icewing works well too, a frost-themed ancient knife with the same icy blue tones running through its blade.
Iceblaster Background
Iceblaster's box odds sit at the standard 0.2% for a base godly pulled from a crate, the same rate that applies across all boxes. The top 100 players on the Gift-Giving leaderboard received a Red Iceblaster, with the top 3 getting Bronze, Silver, and Gold variants. SimplyALemon took first place and the Gold Iceblaster, LightenAli placed second for Silver, and aHappyBlaze took third for Bronze, both of those last two accounts now banned. This sits apart from Icebreaker's own leaderboard track, which ran on tokens collected rather than gifts given, so the two knives in the Full Ice Set didn't even share a leaderboard category.
The Full Ice Set itself spans three separate obtain paths across two different years:
Icebreaker came from finishing all 20 Main Event tiers and paying 70,000 Snow Tokens
Iceblaster came from a straight box pull
Icepiercer wasn't added until the Christmas Event 2022, two years later, through that year's Battle Pass
The three only ended up grouped together after the fact rather than launching as one set.
