Sweater Gun (2018)

Sweater Gun (2018) Overview

About Sweater Gun (2018)

Sweater Gun (2018) is an uncommon gun added during the Christmas Event 2018. It was unboxed from the 2018 Christmas Box, which cost 1 Snowflake Key per spin, and the key itself cost 100 Snowflake Tokens. The box gave uncommons a 15% pull rate. The event ended on January 14, 2019, so the box is gone, and trading is now the only way to get it. It has a partner knife with the same name.

Appearance and Best Pairings

Sweater Gun (2018) is a revolver with a green barrel and frame covered in white sweater patterns, including a reindeer, a Christmas tree, a snowman, and a snowflake. The cylinder is white and the grip is black. It belongs to the Sweater (2018) Set, so its best pairing is its Set partner, Sweater Knife (2018), which has the same green sweater design.

Sweater Gun (2018) Background

Sweater Gun (2018) was one of three uncommons in the 2018 Christmas Box, all at 15%. The other two were Snowflake Gun (2018) and Holly Knife. The box's godly, Gingerblade, was pulled at 0.2%, so a 15% uncommon was far easier to land.

Its partner knife did not come from the box. Sweater Knife (2018) was the Tier 14 reward in the event's Lumber Yard, where every tier cost 1 Log. Logs came from growing trees, buying them for 60 Gems, or random drops after rounds. Four other items share the name Sweater, and all four are uncommon:

• The 2017 Sweater Knife came from the 2017 Christmas Box and has a holly green blade with red and white patterns.

• The 2018 Sweater Knife is this gun's Set partner.

• The 2025 Sweater Gun came from the 2025 Christmas Box and has a red body with white snowflakes.

• The 2025 Sweater Knife was a Battle Pass reward in the Christmas Event 2025 and has a red blade with white snowflake patterns.

Check the color and year before trading: the 2018 gun is green, while the 2025 gun is red.
