About Gingerblade
Gingerblade is a godly knife that came from the Christmas Box 2018, a crate bought with a Snowflake Key worth 100 Snowflake Tokens, during the Christmas Event 2018, which ran from December 23, 2018 to January 14, 2019. It held the box's godly slot at the fixed 0.2% rate every box godly carries, while its chroma counterpart, Chroma Gingerblade, sat in that same slot at the usual 0.004% chroma rate.
Now that the event has ended, Gingerblade can only be added to an inventory through trading. It carries two Set tags: the Ginger Godly Set with its gun partner Ginger Luger, and the size based Small (107) Set.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Gingerblade takes the shape of a broad blade styled like a gingerbread knife, with a smooth brown surface and a row of white dots that look like icing and small red and green gems lining the top edge. A scattering of red and green gem beads decorates the flat of the blade. The crossguard flares out with small wing shapes styled after a bat, and the handle is wrapped in the same icing dot pattern, ending in a large green gem near the base with a red gem at the very bottom. Gingerblade's matched partner is Ginger Luger, the gun half of the Ginger Godly Set, giving it an official pairing.
Gingerblade Background
Gingerblade's model is pulled from the limited Roblox back accessory Gingerbread Immortal Sword, and salvaging it at the crafting station returns 20 godly shards. Its Set partner wasn't a straight unbox either, Ginger Luger was crafted by salvaging Gingerblade itself into a Gingerbread Cookie and a separate Luger into a Gold Bar, then combining the two at the crafting station.
Gingerblade also carries an existing glitch where equipping the Ghostify effect on it surrounds the blade in a white translucent rectangle, the outline of its own hitbox, and Nikilis patched an older throwing animation it used to have. The same Christmas Box 2018 buried Gingerblade under ten other slots, four commons, three uncommons including Holly Knife, and two rares including Icicles Knife, before the legendary Ginger took the tier just beneath it.
Christmas Event 2018 also sold the Icewing Game Pass for 2,499 Robux, a separate Ancient knife from the same event, and current trade trackers put Gingerblade around 14 with Low.
