About Makeshift Gun
Makeshift Gun was the Tier 20 Survivors Rewards prize during the 2022 Halloween Event, unlocked for 50,000 Candies, and only players on the Survivors team could buy it. The event ran October 16 through November 10, 2022.
Trading is the only way to add it now that the event has ended. Makeshift Gun officially pairs with the godly knife Bat as the Bat Set; there's a separate Rare knife called Makeshift Knife, a Tier 17 Survivor reward from the same event, making the Makeshift Set.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Makeshift Gun takes the shape of a crude, homemade looking pistol with a gray, hexagon patterned metal barrel that fades into a rainbow tint near the front. A jagged, serrated blade is bolted onto the side of the barrel like a makeshift bayonet, and the body is wrapped in dark red tape or cloth strips all the way down through the grip, giving it a rough, improvised look throughout.
Bat is Makeshift Gun's official knife Set partner, the two together making the Bat Set. For an extra pairing outside the Set, Dungeon fits reasonably well; its wrapped handle and reddish tint echo Makeshift Gun's own red wrapped grip, even though it comes from a different, earlier Halloween event.
Makeshift Gun Background
Halloween Event 2022 was the first event in MM2 to run two separate tier reward tracks at once, one for Survivors and one for Zombies, rather than the single track most Halloween events used before it. That same event is also the one where Nikilis reset every Icewing holder's stash above 190 down to just 5, a move widely read as getting ahead of duping rather than reacting to an already-discovered glitch. Makeshift Gun itself has no recorded duping history of its own. Current trade trackers put it around 35 with Low demand.
