About Bat
Bat cost 50,000 Candies to unlock as the Tier 20 reward on the Zombies side of Halloween Event 2022, which ran from October 16 to November 10, 2022. Candy came from collecting it during rounds, so reaching the final tier meant grinding through the full event, and only players who picked the Zombies team at the start could buy it. Trading is the only way to add Bat now that the event has ended. It pairs with Makeshift to form the Bat Set.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Bat takes the shape of a wooden baseball bat, dark brown with a rougher, weathered texture. A row of black metal spikes runs along the top half of the barrel, and the handle is wrapped in black grip tape near the base. Its best pairing is Makeshift, its official set partner. The Godly Gun that filled the matching Tier 20 slot on the Survivors side of the same event. For a second pairing, the common gun Apocalypse works well too, even though the two were never released as an official pair.
Bat Background
Halloween Event 2022 split players into two permanent sides right at the start, Survivors or Zombies, each with its own separate tier track that only diverged on a handful of tiers. Tier 20 was one of those divergence points: Zombies got Bat for 50,000 Candies, while Survivors got a completely different Tier 20 reward for the same cost: the gun Makeshift.
The same split played out earlier in the track too: Tier 2 handed Zombies the Infected Knife while Survivors got the Apocalypse Knife, and Tier 4 repeated it with Infected Gun on one side and the Apocalypse Gun on the other. Despite coming from opposite, mutually exclusive teams, Bat and Makeshift were still built as an official pair, the Bat Set, meaning most players who wanted both pieces had no choice but to trade with someone from the other side.
The name creates its own mix up risk on top of that. Bat is not to be confused with the Pet Bat, or with the knife Bats, whose name was reused across separate 2016 Bat knife, 2018 Bat knife, and 2020 Bat knife releases. With the event long over, Bat's value today runs entirely on trading demand rather than any shop or box listing. Current trade trackers put it around 150 with Low demand.
