About Broken
Broken is a legendary knife added during Valentines Event 2023. Players unlocked it by collecting 4,000 Hearts, the most expensive reward of the event. Hearts could not be bought with Robux, so the only way to collect them was by picking them up during rounds, where they spawned alongside coins. It was the top reward on a five-step ladder that began with Love Knife at 200 Hearts. The event ended on March 23, 2023, and trading is now the only way to get Broken.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Broken is a knife with a cracked dark gray stone blade. Three purple gemstones are set along it, and a broken purple heart is engraved in the center. The guard is purple, and the handle is dark gray with purple fabric wrapped around it. Broken is not part of any Set. Elderwood Revolver is a good gun to pair with it, since its dark gray body and purple markings match the knife's colors.
Broken Background
Broken came out during the second Valentines event in MM2, which ran from February 2 to March 23, 2023. It was the first event since 2016 to bring in a new form of currency, and Hearts were that currency.
The event's rewards were priced by Hearts, with Broken at the top:
200 Hearts: Love, common
600 Hearts: Rose Knife, uncommon
1,000 Hearts: Heart Knife, rare
4,000 Hearts: Broken, legendary
At 4,000 Hearts, Broken cost four times as much as the next reward up, which made it the hardest item of the event to earn. It was also the only legendary reward released in that event.
