About Elderwood Revolver
Elderwood Revolver is a Godly gun that was unboxed from the 2019 Halloween Box during the Halloween Event 2019, which ran from October 26 to November 16, 2019. The box cost 1,000 Candies or a single Pumpkin Key to open, and Godly pulls landed at just 0.2% among its rewards.
It forms the Elderwood Set with the ancient knife Elderwood Scythe, and together with Elderwood Blade rounds out the wider Full Elderwood Set. Now that the event has ended, trading is the only way to add it to a collection.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Elderwood Revolver takes the shape of a revolver with a dark, near-black body that looks like twisted, gnarled wood. Glowing purple markings run along the barrel and cylinder, breaking up the dark surface with jagged, rune-like patterns. The grip is black and curves down in a rough, rooted texture, and a small pointed leaf-like fin sticks out from the back of the frame. Elderwood Scythe, the ancient knife, is officially paired with the Elderwood Revolver.
Elderwood Revolver Background
Elderwood Revolver and its knife partner marked a turning point for MM2's holiday content: Halloween Event 2019 was the first holiday event in the game's history to introduce custom-designed weapons rather than reusing existing models, with IDontHaveAUse behind the design.
The gun actually shipped with a different picture than the one live today. The two got swapped at some point after release, and that same event's leaderboard handed out four separate reskin trophies of it, Blue, Bronze, Silver, and Gold Elderwood, to whichever hundred players ranked highest on the Candies Collected leaderboard. Current trade trackers put it around 36 with Low demand.
