Blox Fruits Enchantments: Full Guide

Blox Fruits Enchantments Full Guide

Enchantments in Blox Fruits come from the Dragon Talon Sage at Tiki Outpost and apply to swords, guns, and fishing rods once a weapon is already upgraded. There are twelve general enchantments, plus weapon-exclusive Unique Enchantments, and every Blessing and Curse that can roll on a scroll carries its own effect. Crafting costs and enchantment levels vary by scroll tier, from Common up to Mythical.

Every sword, gun, and fishing rod in Blox Fruits can be enchanted once it's fully upgraded, adding stacking stat boosts, rare passive effects, and occasionally a visual-changing Blessing or Curse on top. All of it runs through one NPC and one item: the Dragon Talon Sage and the scrolls he crafts. In this article, we'll explain how enchanting actually works, what every enchantment does, and exactly what each scroll tier costs to craft.

The Dragon Talon Sage and How Enchanting Works

The Dragon Talon Sage stands at the top of the left tower in Tiki Outpost, in the Third Sea, and he's been in the game since Update 20. A weapon has to already be upgraded before most scrolls will work on it; only the Common Scroll can go on a base weapon, and trying anything higher too early gets a warning that the weapon is too weak and would break.

Enchanting can be repeated as many times as a player wants, but each new scroll wipes out whatever was there before; there's no way to remove an enchantment without immediately replacing it with another. A weapon can hold levels spread across several of the general stat enchantments at once, plus up to one Unique Enchantment and up to one Blessing or Curse, never both at the same time.

The Twelve General Enchantments

These are the base stat boosts every scroll levels up, and each one scales further the more levels are put into it.

Enchant

Effect

Percentage per Level

Agile

Reduces cooldowns

6% / 9% / 12%

Beast

Extra damage to Beast-race users

3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Deadly

Extra damage to other players

2% / 4% / 6% / 8% / 10%

Efficient

Extra XP from NPCs

15% / 30% / 45% / 60%

Elemental

Extra damage to Elemental-race users

3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Fortune

Extra Money from NPCs

15% / 30% / 45% / 60%

Lucky

Extra item drop rate from NPCs

5% / 10% / 15% / 20%

Natural

Extra damage to Natural-race users

3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Piercing

Ignores a percentage of defensive buffs

6% / 12% / 18% / 24%

Sharp

Extra damage to NPCs

3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15% / 18%

Siphon

Converts damage dealt into energy

4% / 6% / 10%

Vampiric

Heals a percentage of damage dealt

4% / 6% / 10%

Levels from any scroll can be split across as many of these as a player wants rather than dumping everything into one, so a weapon can carry a mix, a little Vampiric alongside some Deadly, for example, instead of maxing a single line.

Unique Enchantments

Unique Enchantments only apply to swords and guns, not fishing rods, and they're rarer than the twelve general enchantments but still more common than a Blessing or Curse.

Enchant

Effect

Masterpiece

Skills cost no energy, plus a flat 5% damage and 8% cooldown reduction

Rage

Builds movement speed on hit, scaling with the weapon's base damage

Sharpshooter

+10% damage, but +20% longer cooldowns

Strong Grip

Damage scales 40% off the Melee stat and 60% off the Sword or Gun stat

Unbreakable

A held skill can't be interrupted for 2 seconds

Unreal

-20% cooldowns, but -15% damage

Masterpiece is the safest all-rounder of the six, while Sharpshooter and Unreal both trade in opposite directions on the same cooldown-versus-damage tradeoff, making them fit for very different weapon types.

Blessings and Curses

Blessings and Curses can only roll on Legendary or Mythical Scrolls, at a 3% and 10% chance respectively, and each one adds a visual effect on top of its gameplay change.

Blessing

Effect

Burning

A 4-second burn on hit that scales with final damage, roughly 12.5% cumulative tick damage, without breaking or draining Instinct dodges

Frozen

5 seconds of Slowness on hit, scaling with base damage rather than final damage

Rot

Cuts regular and passive healing on fruit users for 4 seconds on hit; does nothing against NPCs or fruitless players; renamed from Sea back in Update 24

Storm

Chains lightning to nearby enemies on hit, each chained hit dealing roughly a sixth of the original attack's damage; drains Instinct dodges without breaking Instinct itself.

Curses go the opposite direction, trading a real drawback for a bigger payoff, and their odds weren't listed on the wiki page the way the Blessing chances were.

Curse

Effect

Curse of the Reaper

Halves the wearer's own health regen and drains life on hit; 70% yield against players, 23% against NPCs, stacking further with two cursed weapons equipped.

Curse of the Thief

Makes enemies far more aggressive and pulls their aggro even without damage dealt, roughly an 18-meter radius, in exchange for XP ×2.5, Money ×1.5, and 25% more damage taken; doesn't apply during Sea events, Raid bosses, or Raid and Dungeon NPCs.

Neither Blessings nor Curses eat into a scroll's normal enchantment levels; they sit outside that count entirely.

Every Scroll and What It Costs

Four scroll tiers exist, and each one has to be unlocked by crafting ten of the tier before it.

Scroll

Crafting Cost

Enchantment Levels

Common

3 Fool's Gold, 2 Shark Tooth

3

Rare

2 Electric Wing, 5 Fool's Gold, 4 Shark Tooth

5, with a small chance at a bonus Unique Enchantment

Legendary

5 Leviathan Scale, 3 Electric Wing, 1 Mutant Tooth, 7 Fool's Gold

7, with a chance at a Unique Enchantment, a 3% chance at a Blessing, or a Curse

Mythical

1 Leviathan Heart, 15 Leviathan Scale, 1 Terror Eyes, 20 Fool's Gold

9, with a chance at a Unique Enchantment, a 10% chance at a Blessing, or a Curse

Common Scrolls need no unlock at all and can be crafted from the start, and they're also the most likely scroll to drop from a diamond colored Sunken Chest. The Legendary Scroll's listed recipe is currently unusable due to a bug on the crafting side, even though the Dragon Talon Sage still shows it. The Mythical Scroll is the hardest of the four to actually make, since the Leviathan Heart it needs only comes from the Beast Hunter ship, on top of everything else in its recipe.

Final Words

Enchanting isn't something to touch early; a weapon needs to already be upgraded before most of this even applies, which puts it firmly in Third Sea territory. Once it's an option, though, stacking the right mix of the twelve general enchantments, chasing a Unique Enchantment that fits a specific weapon, and hoping for a Blessing on a Legendary or Mythical Scroll is one of the more meaningful ways to keep pushing a weapon's power past its base stats.
