Blox Fruits Third Sea: Full Guide

Blox Fruits Third Sea Full Guide

Third Sea is the current endgame area in Blox Fruits, unlocked at level 1500 through King Red Head's questline in the Second Sea. It has the fewest islands of any sea but the longest grind, roughly 1300 levels, and holds the game's fighting style unlocks, Race Awakenings, and enchanting system. Unlocking it, what makes it harder than the first two seas, every island with its boss and level range, and how Valor and the Shipwright subclass fit into it are all part of the picture.

The Third Sea is the current endgame area in Blox Fruits, running from level 1500 up to the level cap, and it's where fighting style unlocks, Race Awakenings, and the entire enchanting system live. It has fewer islands than the First or Second Sea, but each one takes far longer to clear.

In this article, we'll explain how to unlock the Third Sea, what makes it harder than everything before it, every island with its boss and level range, and how Valor and the Shipwright subclass fit into the loop.

How to Unlock the Third Sea

Reaching level 1500 alone isn't enough. Players first need the Colosseum Quest done and Don Swan defeated back in the Second Sea, both separate prerequisite quests in their own right. Once those are cleared, talking to King Red Head, an NPC held prisoner in a cell under the Colosseum, starts the actual unlock sequence. He asks for help provoking Rip Indra, which teleports the player to Indra Island for a fight against him.

Getting Rip Indra down to half health triggers a cutscene where King Red Head steps in and loses the fight himself, after which he sends an in-game message explaining he's now sealed away in the Third Sea and asking the player to find Mr. Captain at the Green Zone docks. Talking to Mr. Captain is what actually transports a player into the Third Sea, landing them at Port Town.

What Makes the Third Sea Different

The grind here runs roughly 1300 levels, longer than the 699 in the First Sea and 800 in the Second. Elemental Reflex, a defensive tool that mattered earlier in the game, mostly stops working here since so many enemies use Aura and the level gap needed for immunity climbs as high as 100 levels above the enemy. Buddha, ideally awakened, is the recommended farming fruit instead. Bounty hunters show up more aggressively than in the Second Sea, and exploiters are a real problem on a handful of islands, Haunted Castle and Sea of Treats especially, to the point that a private server is worth considering just to avoid them.

Each island in the table above gets its own breakdown below, covering what sets it apart beyond just its level range and boss.

Port Town

Port Town is the entry point and the only island in the entire Third Sea with a Blacksmith, which makes it the default return spot if a player's been away for a while. Hydra Island is where the Dragon Talon fighting style, the Draco race, and swords like Dragonheart and Dragonstorm all come from, making it one of the more important stops rather than just another grinding island.

Floating Turtle

Floating Turtle is the largest island in the Third Sea and the second largest in the whole game, home to four separate bosses, and it's also where Godhuman becomes available through the Ancient Monk. Haunted Castle doubles as one of the best chest-farming spots in the game, thirteen chests total between Silver, Golden, and Diamond, though it's also one of the worst islands for exploiters targeting the same farm.

Sea of Treats

Sea of Treats has the widest level span of any single location in the game at 375 levels, split across five sub-islands: Peanut Land, Ice Cream Land, Cake Land, Chocolate Land, and Candy Cane Land. Castle on the Sea sits at the center of the map as a hub with no ambient enemies, but it's home to the rip_indra True Form raid, a level 5000 fight summoned by matching specific Aura colors on buttons around the island.

Tiki Outpost

Beyond Sea of Treats sits Tiki Outpost, home to the Dragon Talon Sage and the Shipwright Teacher, along with a small set of spawn-only islands, Treasure Island, Kitsune Island, Mirage Island, Frozen Dimension, and Prehistoric Island, that don't appear on the map until specific conditions are met.

Getting Around

Because islands sit farther apart here than in earlier seas, the Third Sea has its own limited Portal network rather than relying purely on boats. Killing Rip Indra's True Form for the first time unlocks two portals at Castle on the Sea, one to the Mansion on Floating Turtle and one to Hydra Island. Defeating the Tyrant of the Skies unlocks a third portal connecting Tiki Outpost and Castle on the Sea, which also opens up the Submarine Worker, who ferries players to Submerged Island and, from there, to any other island in the sea for a Beli fee.

Final Words

The Third Sea isn't just a harder version of the first two; it's where most of the game's real character-building systems open up: fighting styles, Race Awakenings, and enchanting all sit behind that level 1500 gate. Anyone grinding toward it should expect the pace to slow down considerably once they arrive, but the payoff is access to nearly everything that actually defines a build past that point.
