MM2 Halloween Event 2026: Everything You Need to Know

MM2 Halloween Event 2026

MM2’s Halloween Event 2026 runs from October 18 to November 16 with a retro witch lobby, the new Haunted House 2 map, and Candies replacing Coins. Candies buy 30 Battle Pass tiers, ending with the Emberbow for an extra 100,000 Candies, and the 2026 Halloween Box, which holds the Embersickle at a 0.2% chance. Combining the Emberbow and Embersickle in the Cauldron crafts the Emberscythe, while Bingo and daily quests add extra rewards and Candies.

MM2's Halloween event is back for 2026. It went live on October 18 and runs until November 16, with a retro theme built around a small witch lobby inspired by the game's classic 2014 to 2018 lobby. Haunted House 2, a revamp of the original Haunted House map, is the one new map this year.

Coins don't drop for the whole event. Candies take their place, and you spend them on the 30-tier Halloween Battle Pass and the ember-themed Halloween Box. The Cauldron also returns, letting players craft an exclusive Ancient weapon from event items instead of relying on luck alone.

In this article, we'll explore everything you need to know about the MM2 Halloween Event 2026, including how Candies work, the Battle Pass, the Halloween Box, the Cauldron, and the rewards worth going after.

Halloween Battle Pass Rewards

The Halloween Battle Pass has 30 tiers, and you unlock them with Candies instead of Robux. Tier 1 is free, tiers 2 to 30 cost 600 Candies each, and unlocking the Emberbow at the end costs an additional 100,000 Candies. Every odd tier from 3 to 27 gives a Halloween Key, which adds up to 13 keys across the pass, and each key opens a Halloween Box without any extra Candies.

Finishing the whole pass costs 117,400 Candies, and the 100,000 for the Emberbow makes up most of that. The 13 Halloween Keys are worth 7,800 Candies in box openings, which means the odd tiers pay for themselves. Emberknife at tier 29 is the last reward before the big jump in price, and reaching it takes 16,800 Candies. Buying the Emberbow also gives you a very small chance to land the Chroma Emberbow, the first Chroma Ancient in MM2.

2026 Halloween Box

The 2026 Halloween Box is the only crate in this year's event, and it holds 12 weapons. You can open it for 600 Candies or 1 Halloween Key, and the keys come from the odd tiers of the Battle Pass. Its top prize is the Embersickle, a Godly knife. If you want to see every other crate in the game, check our guide to all MM2 boxes.

Each rarity has its own chance, and the items inside a rarity share it, so the four Commons split the 70% roll between them:

The Embersickle sits at 0.2%, which works out to about 1 in 500 boxes, and the Chroma Embersickle sits at 0.004%, or about 1 in 25,000. At 600 Candies per box, chasing the Embersickle alone costs around 300,000 Candies on average, so the 13 keys from the Battle Pass only cover a small part of that. The Embersickle is also one of the two weapons needed to craft the Emberscythe in the Cauldron, which we cover next. Once the event ends, the box retires, and its items can only be obtained through trading.

How to Craft Emberscythe in the Cauldron

Cauldron
Cauldron Location in MM2

The Cauldron sits in the Halloween lobby and lets you combine two event weapons into the Emberscythe, an Ancient knife. The recipe needs one Emberbow from the end of the Battle Pass and one Embersickle from the Halloween Box, so the craft only works after you have gone through both reward routes.

Crafting the Emberscythe takes four steps, and you need both ingredients in your inventory before you start:

  1. Open the Cauldron in the Halloween lobby.

  2. Place one Emberbow and one Embersickle in the recipe slots.

  3. Confirm the craft.

  4. Check your inventory for the Emberscythe.

Both weapons are consumed once you confirm, so you end up with the Emberscythe and lose the Emberbow and Embersickle you put in. There is also a small chance the Cauldron gives you the Chroma Emberscythe instead, and no official odds have been published for it.

Halloween Bingo Challenges

Halloween Bingo is a 3x3 board of nine challenges, and it is the first time MM2 has used a Bingo system since the 2023 Easter event. The rows are split by role, and the columns by difficulty, and finishing a full row or column unlocks that line's reward. Clearing all nine squares gives you the Cauldron, a cosmetic reward that has nothing to do with the crafting Cauldron in the lobby, and diagonals don't count. Here is the full board.

Each challenge counts toward two lines at once, one row and one column. Column 1 is the line to target first, since its 2 Halloween Keys are worth 1,200 Candies in box openings. The Murderer row needs you to play Murderer, so save those challenges for rounds where you get the role. Bingo ends with the event on November 16, so any line you leave unfinished by then is lost.

New Map and Lobby

Halloween Event 2026 Lobby
Halloween Event 2026 Lobby

This year's lobby is a small retro lobby inspired by MM2's classic lobby from 2014 to 2018, and it is much smaller than a usual Halloween lobby. It also borrows from the original Haunted House map that Shedletsky created in 2006, with the voting area styled after the exterior and interior of the house.

The lobby also hides a secret room. Click the skulls around the lobby in rainbow color order, then type "candle" on the pumpkin drawing on the balcony. The door opens, a ghost appears, and you drop into the old Murder Mystery lobby.

Haunted House 2 is the only new map this year, and it is a revamp of the original Haunted House from the first Murder Mystery. The older Halloween maps are back in the rotation as well, including Manor, Farmhouse, Mineshaft, Barn in Infection, Vampire's Castle, and Spaceship. Candies spawn on every one of them, so no map is a bad choice for farming.

Halloween Event 2026 Daily Quests
Halloween Event 2026 Daily Quests

Coins don't drop during the event, so every Candy comes from the Candies lying around the map in rounds and from daily quests. Daily quests are the steadiest source. Three of them refresh every day at 8 AM UTC, and each one pays out Candies once you reach its collection target.

Collect 120 Candies

Collect 200 Candies

170 Candies

Together, the three quests pay 500 Candies a day, which is almost a full Battle Pass tier. Check your quests before you join a round, since the Candies you pick up count toward the collection targets, and staying alive longer gives you more time to pick them up. Finished daily quests also count toward three event quests, which hand out cosmetics you can't get anywhere else:

Daily Quests Completed

Reward

15

Hexed Knife

30

Pumpkin Emote

45

Ghostly Effect

With three quests a day, reaching Ghostly takes at least 15 days of finishing all three. Missed days can't be recovered, so skip none if you want the full set. When it comes to spending, put your Candies into Battle Pass tiers before buying boxes directly, since every odd tier adds a Halloween Key on top of its reward.

Final Words

The MM2 Halloween Event 2026 ends on November 16, so plan your Candies before then. Put them into Battle Pass tiers first for the Halloween Keys, finish all three daily quests every day, and use the Bingo board to pick up extra Keys and skins along the way. If you want the Emberscythe, you need both the Emberbow and the Embersickle, and the Cauldron craft disappears with the event. Once it closes, the Ember weapons and the Halloween Box items can only be obtained through trading.
