Red Pumpkin is a common pet that was originally obtainable at Tier 12 of the Halloween Event 2018 Main Event, a 100-tier ladder where each tier cost 100 Candies to unlock, during an event that ran from October 25 to November 12 that year. The event closed out once November 12 hit, so trading is the only way to add it to your collection now.

Appearance and Best Pairings

Red Pumpkin is a black jack-o'-lantern with a carved face lit up in glowing neon red, giving it a sharp, sinister look next to its plain dark brown stalk. As a pet, it doesn't come with an official Set partner, but its red and black color scheme pairs well with Vampire's Axe and Vampire's Gun, the red double-sided knife and gun from the 2024 Halloween Battle Pass, for a matching bloodier loadout.

Red Pumpkin has been used for four separate MM2 pets across four different Halloween events, this common 2018 version, a rare 2019 version, and two legendary versions from 2020 and 2021, each with its own distinct value on the market. The 2018 version specifically shares its face design with three same-year variants, Green Pumpkin, Blue Pumpkin, and Purple Pumpkin, all modeled after the limited Roblox hat Sinister P with just the color swapped between them.

Halloween Event 2018 was the fourth annual Halloween event MM2 had run, and it introduced the tier-reward Main Event format to Halloween events for the first time, a structure the game has reused in nearly every Halloween event since. Nikilis had originally planned to end the event on November 7 but pushed it back five extra days after players asked for more time.
