About Prismatic
Prismatic is a godly knife that was originally sold through the Prismatic Game Pass for 1,699 Robux. The Game Pass went on sale in the shop on July 17, 2020, and stayed up until December 13, 2020, when the Peppermint Game Pass replaced it. It was briefly taken off sale during Halloween Event 2020, then put back on sale at the same price.
The Game Pass is now off sale, so trading is the only way to get Prismatic. It was the fourth item pack in MM2 to contain a single item, after the Batwing, Icewing, and Bioblade Game Passes.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Prismatic is a curved black knife with a rainbow gradient running through the blade. It has three sharp points jutting out, two near the blade guard and one near the tip, and a short spike at the end of the handle. It is not a chroma.
Prismatic is not part of any Set. For a gun, Wraiths Gun is a good match, since its black body and bright purple skull patterns pick up the dark base and the purple edge of the rainbow blade.
Prismatic Background
Prismatic was designed by IDontHaveAUse and built on the hype around Roblox's Cartoony Rainbow series, which many UGC creators contributed to. Nikilis hinted at the knife on his Twitter before the Game Pass launched.
In 2022, Prismatic was affected by the Duping Glitch. Players found that anyone who owned a shop Game Pass, or knew someone who did, could duplicate that Game Pass's items. Icewing was the main target, and Batwing, Bioblade, Cookieblade, and Peppermint were also hit. Nikilis deleted most of the large duplicated stacks of shop items on October 16, 2022.
