About Chroma Fire Pig
Chroma Fire Pig is a chroma godly pet that was added in the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019. It hatches from the Common Egg, which costs 1,000 Coins or 100 Diamonds, with a 0.004% chance on each hatch, or about 1 in 25,000. It belongs to the Full Chroma Set, and trading is the other way to get it without hatching.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Fire Pig is a blocky pig with the same design as Fire Pig, but its body cycles through every color of the rainbow instead of staying red. For a loadout, Chroma Heat is a good knife to run with it, since its flame and paracord handle also shift colors. Chroma Luger is the gun to pair it with, because its color-alternating body matches the pet's rainbow glow.
Chroma Fire Pig Background
Chroma Fire Pig is the chroma version of Fire Pig, which is the fire version of the regular Pig. Season 1 added 7 base pets, each with a Fire and a Chroma Fire version, for 21 new pets in total, and the Common Egg replaced the old Pet Boxes as the only way to buy pets. A Fire Pig comes out of the egg at a 0.2% chance, which is 1 in 500, so the chroma is 50 times harder to hatch than the fire version.
The chroma fire versions of the other six pets sit alongside it in the egg at the same 0.004% chance:
Chroma Fire Bat is the chroma fire version of the Bat.
Chroma Fire Cat is the chroma fire version of the Cat.
Chroma Fire Bunny is the chroma fire version of the Bunny.
Chroma Fire Dog is the chroma fire version of the Dog.
Chroma Fire Fox is the chroma fire version of the Fox.
Chroma Fire Bear is the chroma fire version of the Bear.
All seven chroma fire pets are part of the Full Chroma Set, which also covers 10 chroma knives and 5 chroma guns for 22 items in total, so Chroma Fire Pig is the pig of a group that collectors trade as one set. Do not mix it up with Piggy, a separate pet from the old Pet Box, which is a different item with a similar name.
