About Traveler Knife
Traveler Knife is a legendary knife added during the Halloween Event 2023, which started on October 17, 2023, and ended on November 21, 2023. It was unboxed from the 2023 Halloween Box, the only crate in the event, which cost 300 Candies or 1 Traveler Key to open. Legendary weapons in that box had a 5% chance to drop. The event has ended, and the box is gone, so trading is the only way to get Traveler Knife now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Traveler has a very dark red blade with a spike-like dark metal strip along the spine and a magma orange edge. A small green vine runs up the spine from a dark wooden handle, and the guard is dark silver. The natural pairing is Traveler Gun (2023) through the Traveler Set. For a different gun, Vines Gun (2023) is a good fit since its large green vines match the vine on the blade.
Traveler Knife Background
Traveler was one of nine non-godly weapons in the 2023 Halloween Box, sitting at the top of the legendary tier at 5%. The box also held two godly guns, Traveler's Gun at 0.2% and Chroma Traveler's Gun at 0.004%, so landing a legendary was far more common than either of them. The Traveler Gun (2023) came from a different place, the 29th tier of the 30-tier Battle Pass, where tiers 2 to 30 cost 300 Candies each. Reaching it took 8,400 Candies in total, while the final tier gave the ancient knife Traveler's Axe for 30,000 Candies.
The name has caused some trading mix-ups since a few items share it:
Traveler Gun (2023) is the legendary partner gun from Battle Pass tier 29
Traveller is a godly pet from the Halloween Item Pack in the 2017 Halloween Event, spelled with two Ls
Always check the type and the spelling before accepting a trade, since the Traveler's Gun and Traveler's Axe are also separate items from the same event.
