About Chroma Watergun
Chroma Watergun is the chroma version of the godly gun Watergun, obtained the same way through the 2024 Summer Box during the Summer Event 2024, the same event that introduced godlies like Palms and the Pearls Bundle weapons Pearl and Pearlshine, Like every other chroma weapon, Chroma Watergun can't be broken down at the crafting station.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Watergun takes the shape of a chunky plastic water pistol, matching Watergun's silhouette, with a full rainbow gradient running across its body, shifting from pink and orange at the tip through gold and teal in the middle, down to green and red near the grip. Ribbed detailing lines the barrel and handle like the molded grooves on a real toy water gun, and a rounded orange tank sits along the top of the barrel. The trigger and grip are teal and orange, carrying the rainbow shift down through the handle.
Chroma Watergun is commonly paired with the common knife Toy, though the Chroma Watergun and Toy combination isn't considered an official set.
Chroma Watergun Background
Chroma Watergun came out alongside its godly counterpart Watergun during Summer Event 2024, which ran from July 5 to October 16, 2024 and stands as the longest event in MM2 history at 103 days. It was the second summer event MM2 ever had, and the first minor one to get its own exclusive map and weapon box, the 2024 Summer Box, which is where both Watergun and Chroma Watergun could be unboxed alongside godlies like Palms.
Chroma Watergun was also the first chroma weapon ever attached to a minor event, ahead of later additions like Chroma Bauble and Chroma Sunset. Summer Event 2024 went on to break multiple all-time peak player records and is considered one of MM2's most successful runs.
Since it ended, Chroma Watergun is only obtainable through trading, the same as Watergun. Current trade trackers put it around 2,200 with Medium demand.
