About BattleAxe II
BattleAxe II is a godly knife that was added on October 25, 2018, as the final reward in the Halloween Event 2018 Main Event. Reaching it meant clearing all 100 tiers at 100 Candies each (the first tier was free), putting the total cost at 9,900 Candies. Trading is now the only way to get BattleAxe II since the event ended on November 12, 2018.
Appearance and Best Pairings
BattleAxe II's blade is shaped like a bird with a purple gemstone set into its stomach. The handle carries a purple paracord wrap with a small bat on the belly, and a black mace studded with purple spikes sits on the knob at the top of the axe.
Its set partner is BattleAxe, the original bone-handled axe with a skull centerpiece and steel crescent blades, completing the BattleAxe Set. For a gun pairing, Darkbringer fits the same dark, gothic tone, with its black body and red accents running the same kind of shadowy theme as BattleAxe II's own black-and-purple finish.
BattleAxe II Background
The Halloween Event 2018 ran from October 25 to November 12, extended five days past its original November 7 end date after the community asked for more time. Its Main Event was the first tier-reward ladder MM2 ever ran during a Halloween event, and BattleAxe II's spot as the 100th and final tier made it one of the earliest examples of a Halloween Main Event capping off on a godly reward, a pattern the 2022 event later repeated with Makeshift and Bat.
BattleAxe II's model derives from the Roblox gear Bat-tle Axe, which still sells on the avatar shop for 500 Robux, just retextured into its current black and purple color scheme. Salvaging it at the crafting station gives 90 godly shards.
Its predecessor, BattleAxe, came out the year before during the Halloween Event 2017, sold through the Halloween Item Pack for 1,299 Robux rather than earned through a tier ladder. That item partners with the godly pet Traveller rather than a gun, which is why BattleAxe II's own closest in-game pairing comes from outside its own Set rather than a matching revolver under the same name.
