The odds of getting one out of a crate are near impossible, leaving you with very few options to obtain one, however one viable option would be to trade! MM2 Trading Requirements
Before you start trading in MM2 please ensure you are at least level 10 otherwise you will not be able to trade! In order to level up quicker try to survive for as long as possible and collect coins!
What Is Trading In MM2?
In MM2, trading is a core feature which allows players to exchange items such as knives, guns and pets with other users. The goal of trading is to either obtain an item that you really want to use or to make a profit so you can afford rarer and more expensive items.
How To Send Trades In MM2?
Sending a trade request is very simple but it is slightly different depending on what device you are on. Lets start off with Mobile / Tablet since that is the most popular platform.
Trading On Mobile / Ipad
When you are on mobile, simply click the plus button, which is highlighted in the picture above. If someone has sent you a trade request, you will see a red exclamation mark (!) next to the plus icon. This will open a menu where you can accept or decline a trade request.
If you would like to send a trade request, simply click on a player's name, and you will receive two options.

Trading will send the desired user a trade request, and viewing the "profile" you will be able to see the users stats such as wins/kills but more importantly you will be able to view the users inventory, which is very useful as you will know what items you will want to trade for.
Trading on PC
Trading on pc is a bit more straightforward than mobile, as you have the lobby players located in the top right. So all you need to do is click on a player's name and click "Trade".

How To Get Items In MM2?
As you start MM2, every player is given a default gun and knife, which is not tradeable. And if you want to trade then unfortunately, you will need to have some existing items to use. If you have received some items, then brilliant, you can skip this section. But below, I will share the following methods.
Grind Coins And Event Tokens
Usually, there is always an event going on in MM2, which means there is an event crate which can be unlocked with 400 event tokens. Alternatively, you can save up 1000 coins to open a crate however, you can only collect 25 coins per match or 40 coins if you spend Robux upgrading your coin bag. This means it would take you 40 MM2 games to open one crate, assuming you collect enough coins each round and you don't get killed!
Entering Giveaways
This method isn't guaranteed however, many YouTubers and Discord servers do regular giveaways, but it is important to remember that some giveaways may be fake, and also you are competing against other people, but the more giveaways you enter, the higher the chance you have!
Begging For Free Items
This method is not recommended as it is super annoying however, a recent YouTube video by Mudplayz concluded that a surprising number of people did in fact donate low-tier common items. Common items can be used to trade up to higher rarity items, but usually, it is more profitable not to trade up.
