About Snowflake (Godly)
Snowflake is a godly knife that was added with the Christmas Event 2017, which began on December 25, 2017, and ended on February 27, 2018. It was sold for 3,000 Snowflake Tokens in Santa's Workshop, and players earned those tokens by crafting toys from salvaged weapon parts and trading them in, so a single Ultra Wrapped Tablet paid out 5,000 tokens on its own. Trading is the only way to get Snowflake now that the event is over.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Snowflake has a large, jagged icy blue icicle for a blade, a hexagon-shaped snowflake guard with six dendrites sticking out of it, and a thin blue handle that ends in an icy gemstone pommel. For a loadout, Icebeam is a good gun to run with it. It is a godly gun with a frosty beam-pistol design and snowflake patterns on the frame, which match the snowflake guard and ice-blue blade.
Snowflake (Godly) Background
Snowflake and Frostsaber, which cost 5,000 Snowflake Tokens, were the two godly knives sold in Santa's Workshop that year. The only other way to get a godly knife in the event was the Christmas Box, which opened with a Winter Key and had Winter's Edge as its godly at a 0.2% chance, so buying Snowflake with tokens was the guaranteed route. The event ran for 64 days, which makes Christmas Event 2017 the longest Christmas event MM2 has had.
Snowflake is the only godly with this name, but seven other weapons share its name or are named Snowflakes, and all of them sit in lower rarities, so check the year and rarity before you trade:
Snowflake Knife (2018) is an Uncommon knife from the Lumber Yard in the Christmas Event 2018.
Snowflake Gun (2018) is an Uncommon gun from the 2018 Christmas Box.
Snowflakes Gun (2019) is a Common gun from the Christmas Event 2019 Main Event.
Snowflakes Knife (2019) is a Common knife from the 2019 Christmas Box.
Snowflakes Knife (2020) is a Rare knife from the 2020 Christmas Box.
Snowflake Knife (2022) is an Uncommon knife from the Christmas Event 2022 Main Event.
Snowflake Gun (2022) is an Uncommon gun from the 2022 Christmas Box.
Snowflake Gun (2023) is a Rare gun from the 2023 Christmas Box.
The 2018 Snowflake Knife is the one most often mixed up with this item because it has the same name and type, and it is worth far less than the 2017 godly with the icicle blade, so always check for the godly rarity.
