About Slasher
Slasher is a godly knife that's still obtainable today by unboxing Knife Box 4, a crate that's been sitting in the shop since October 30, 2015. Opening it costs 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds, or 1 Mystery Key, and Slasher sits at the bottom of that box's odds table with a 0.2% chance, with its chroma counterpart, Chroma Slasher, pulled from the same box at a rarer 0.004%.
Since the box has never gone off sale, trading isn't the only way to add Slasher to a collection, though it remains the faster route for players who don't want to gamble on the odds. It's grouped with Laser as the Slasher Set, and it also carries the broader Small (107) Set designation shared with a wide range of other lower valued godlies tracked across MM2's history.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Slasher takes the shape of a curved black blade with a glowing red line that looks like a circuit running along its spine, ending in a small red dot near the tip. Small glowing dots are scattered along the blade near the guard, matching the red line beside them. The guard is a rounded black shape, and the handle is black too, capped with a glowing red tip at the very end.
The clear pairing is its own Set partner, Laser, a godly gun with a matching red and black finish that completes the Slasher Set. For an extra option in the same color family, Red Luger carries a similar metallic red tone across its whole body, even without an official link between the two.
Slasher Background
Knife Box 4 keeps the same five rarity tiers it's always had, running from Common at the top down to Slasher's own Godly slot at the very bottom. The Rare tier holds Korblox and Squire, the Legendary slot right above Slasher belongs to Fade, and the Uncommon tier below that includes Hazmat among others. None of that lineup has changed since the box went up in 2015.
Slasher's own blade design comes from Orinthian Electroslasher, a Roblox gear item still sitting in the avatar shop for 500 Robux. Thexz took that gear and reworked its original bright blue coloring into the red finish Slasher wears today, the same retexture process that later carried over into the chroma version.
Its Set partner Laser has a chroma counterpart of its own too, Chroma Laser, pulled from Gun Box 3. Salvaging a Slasher at the crafting station hands back 35 godly shards, a solid return for a knife that still drops straight from a 1,000 Coin box. Gemstone and Nightblade sit in that same low value range, both pulled from their own separate boxes but carrying the same wide grouping as Slasher. Current trade trackers put it around 15 with Low.
