About Shark
Shark is a godly gun that was added to Murder Mystery 2 on January 14, 2015, when Gun Box 2 first went on sale. The box still unboxes it today for 1,000 Coins, 100 Diamonds, or 1 Mystery Key, down from its original 200 Coins price before the Season 1 update, and only drops it at a 0.2% chance since it sits at tier 2 of the box's reward list.
Because Gun Box 2 has never gone off sale, Shark can still be unboxed directly or picked up through trading. The same box also drops its chroma counterpart, Chroma Shark, at a separate 0.004% chance, and the wiki itself notes that Shark often gets confused with SharkSeeker, an unrelated Unique gun redeemed through a code from the MM2 SharkSeeker Nerf gun toy.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Shark takes the shape of a bulky, futuristic rifle with a black and gray body, with vented ridges along the top of the barrel. A curved, shark fin shaped piece in dark red sits at the center of the body, blending into red accents along the grip and lower frame. Its gray and black body with red accents pairs well with Vampire's Edge, a godly knife with a black blade marked by red and silver strokes along its six claw like edges.
Shark Background
Shark's model comes from the Land Shark Shooter, a limited Roblox gear that originally came in brown before Murder Mystery 2 recolored it into the dark red scheme seen today. Salvaging it at the crafting station breaks it down into 27 godly shards. Gun Box 2 also holds Predator, a legendary gun, alongside commons like Juice, Star, Engraved, and Infiltrator, uncommons Sketch, Marina, and Cheddar, and rares iRevolver and Hacker, making it one of the few boxes still selling a full rarity ladder instead of being replaced by a Game pass or event tier. Current trade trackers put it around 20 with Low demand.
