About Plasmablade
Nikilis added Plasmablade to Murder Mystery 2 on July 1, 2022, selling it for 1,699 Robux on its own Game Pass or 3,399 Robux as part of the Plasma Bundle, which also included the gun Plasmabeam. The pair became the second Game Pass weapons in Murder Mystery 2 sold with the choice between a shared bundle and two separate purchases, following Iceflake and Icebeam a few months earlier.
Both the Game Pass and the bundle have since gone off sale, leaving trading as the only way to add Plasmablade to a collection today. It forms the Plasma Set with Plasmabeam, and both pieces also carry the Small 107 Set designation shared by a wider tracked group of lower valued godly items across MM2's history.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Plasmablade takes the shape of a jagged blade with a smoky, swirling gradient running from pink and purple at the tip into teal near the hilt. The edge has small notched serrations along one side, breaking up the smooth curve. A dark metallic crossguard sits at the base, with small teal gem accents set into it, and the handle continues the dark metal tone with a ridged grip. It pairs with the godly gun Plasmabeam to complete the Plasma Set, and Spectre works as a second option, its own glowing teal smoky panel echoing Plasmablade's teal and smoky tones closely.
Plasmablade Background
IDontHaveAUse teased Plasmablade's release under a fake name first, posting it on Twitter as "Carrotblade" in an April Fools joke before the real knife and its name went live. It also had a brief turn in the spotlight beyond the shop itself, appearing in Murder Mystery 2's own game icon for a stretch after launch.
Plasmablade wasn't spared when a mass duplication exploit hit the game later that year, letting players holding a Game Pass copy it freely, and it joined a long list of affected shop items before Nikilis wiped most of the illegitimate stacks on October 16, 2022. That extra, unearned supply is part of why current trade trackers put it around 15 with Low demand.
