About Old Glory
Old Glory is a godly knife added on July 2, 2016, when Nikilis released the American Item Pack Game Pass for 899 Robux to celebrate that year's 4th of July weekend. Buying the pack also granted the godly gun Amerilaser and the godly pet Sammy, making it one of four original item packs MM2 ever sold, alongside the 8-Bit Set, Futuristic Set, and Clockwork Set. Trading is now the only way to get Old Glory since the game pass went off sale.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Old Glory has a blue blade with four white stars on it, a nod to the 4th of July. The handle is a bulbous maple shape, and the guard takes the form of a cutlass sword's guard colored red and white, echoing the stripes of the American flag. Its official pairing is the Old Glory Set with Amerilaser, and adding the godly pet Sammy completes the Full Old Glory Set, a full three-piece loadout straight from the same 2016 game pass.
Old Glory Background
The American Item Pack launched July 2, 2016, its own in-game description reading "Happy 4th of July weekend! Show your love for America by wearing this America-themed Item Pack!" It was one of only two of the four original item packs, alongside the Futuristic Item Pack, that didn't include its own special effect on top of the weapons and pet.
Only 2,190 players ended up buying the pack before it went off sale, a modest number next to how often Old Glory still gets traded today. Its design is pulled from the now off-sale Roblox gear American Monster Blade, and salvaging the knife provides 72 godly shards.
