About Latte Gun
Latte is a legendary gun that was originally obtainable through the Latte Game pass for 399 Robux during Thanksgiving Event 2023, which ran from November 21 to December 20 that year. The game pass bundled the gun together with the legendary knife of the same name, and the two could not be bought separately, so getting one always meant getting both. The event closed out on December 20, 2023, so trading is the only way to add it to your collection now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Latte uses the standard gun mesh, but its whole body, frame, barrel, and handle run through a light cream to brown to black gradient, meant to look like the froth and coffee layers of an actual latte. Its official Set partner is the legendary knife Latte, the other half of that same Game pass, and carrying both completes the Latte Set.
Latte Gun Background
Thanksgiving Event 2023 was the first Thanksgiving-themed event MM2 had ever run, and it introduced coins as the main currency for its lower tier rewards, a first for the game as well. Every weapon added during the event, Latte included, was designed by IDontHaveAUse.
The Latte Gamepass was also the first legendary gamepass MM2 ever put up for sale. Nikilis wouldn't return to a legendary bundle again until the Retro Bundle nearly three years later, which is called out directly on that bundle's own page as the second one to include legendary weapons. That 799 Robux bundle carries seven weapons in total, with the legendary knife Golden and the legendary gun Shadow as its two legendary pieces, alongside five lower rarity weapons.
The event ran alongside a separate Turkey Game pass, a 1,699 Robux godly knife sold on its own, giving players a cheaper legendary bundle and a pricier single godly item to choose between during the same event.
