About Iceflake
Nikilis added Iceflake to Murder Mystery 2 on December 21, 2021, at the start of Christmas Event 2021, selling it for 1,699 Robux on its own Game Pass or 3,399 Robux as part of the Ice Bundle, which also included the gun Icebeam and an exclusive Ice Magic effect. Buying either weapon on its own Game Pass skipped that effect, and the pair became the first Game Pass weapons in Murder Mystery 2 sold with the choice between a shared bundle and two separate purchases.
Both the Game Pass and the bundle went off sale once Christmas Event 2021 ended on January 28, 2022, leaving trading as the only way to add Iceflake to a collection today. It forms the Iceflake Set with Icebeam, and both pieces also carry the Small 107 Set designation shared by a wider tracked group of lower valued godly items across MM2's history.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Iceflake takes the shape of a broad sword with a pale blue, icy blade patterned with a woven crystalline lattice design running along its length. Jagged spikes of frost jut out near the crossguard, with a round purple gem set at the center where the blade meets the hilt. The handle is wrapped in a matching blue, ridged texture, ending in a small pommel shaped like a snowflake. It pairs with the godly gun Icebeam to complete the Iceflake Set, and Iceblaster works as a second option, its purple body and icy blue highlights matching Iceflake's own color scheme closely.
Iceflake Background
Selling a weapon pair both as a bundle and as two separate purchases wasn't something Nikilis only did once. He repeated it the following year when Plasmabeam and Plasmablade went on sale the same way, making Iceflake and Icebeam the first pair sold like that rather than the only one.
Christmas Event 2021 itself introduced three more godlies through entirely different systems: Swirly Gun and its chroma counterpart Chroma Swirly Gun came from the 2021 Christmas Box, Swirly Blade came from giving 100 Gifts at the event's Gifting Center, and Swirly Axe came from clearing all 20 tiers of the Main Event ladder before paying a separate 80,000 Snow Tokens for the axe itself.
A mass duplication exploit swept through MM2 later that same year, letting anyone holding a Game Pass copy it freely, and Iceflake and Icebeam were both caught up in the run alongside Icewing, Batwing, and Bioblade. Nikilis wiped most of the illegitimate stacks on October 16, 2022, by which point the extra unearned supply had already pulled down value across that whole group of items, which is part of why current trade trackers put it around 16 with Low demand.
