About Icebeam
Icebeam is a godly gun that was added on December 21, 2021, during the Christmas Event 2021. It could be bought on its own through the Icebeam Game Pass for 1,699 Robux, or as part of the Ice Bundle for 3,399 Robux, which also included the matching Iceflake knife and an exclusive Ice Magic effect that wasn't available to players who bought the two weapons separately. Icebeam has been trade-only since the game passes went off sale when the event ended.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Icebeam resembles a beam pistol with a frosty finish. Its thin barrel sits inside a thick frame carrying light snowflake patterns, and a sharp crystal-shaped shard of ice juts out from the side where the hammer would normally be, with another thick beam of ice running down the handle. Its set partner is the Iceflake knife, an icy blue-to-lilac blade wrapped in a sharp-edged snowflake, completing the Iceflake Set. For a second pairing outside the set, Frostbite works well, with its own black blade stamped into frozen ice and matching silver guards.
Icebeam Background
Icebeam and Iceflake were the first game pass weapons in MM2 sold with the option to buy either one separately or together as a bundle. Icebeam itself was also the first godly gun sold directly through the shop since Season 1 launched in May 2019, with earlier shop godlies in that stretch limited to knives like Frostbite, and other shop-era godly guns such as Darkbringer and Iceblaster only ever coming from boxes instead.
Icebeam was swept up in the Duping Glitch 2022, a mass duplication exploit that hit a long list of shop weapons, Iceflake, Icewing, Batwing, and Plasmabeam among them, after players found they could duplicate any item whose game pass they owned. Nikilis deleted the bulk of the duplicated stacks on October 16, 2022, and values across every affected item dropped hard afterward.
