About Green Luger
Green Luger is a godly gun that was originally obtainable by crafting a Luger with 75 Gifts during Christmas Event 2015, which ran from December 19, 2015 to January 8, 2016. The recipe wasn't a guaranteed outcome, it carried a 51% chance of producing Green Luger and a 49% chance of producing its counterpart, Red Luger, instead.
Trading is now the only way to add Green Luger to a collection, since the crafting recipe was removed once the event ended. It's one of five reskins that make up the Luger Set, alongside Red Luger, Ginger Luger, Lugercane, and Chroma Luger, all sharing the same pistol model in different color finishes.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Green Luger takes the base Luger's shape and recolors it a metallic green, with the toggle pin and the grip on the handle finished in a slightly darker shade. It's a clean, single-tone reskin rather than a patterned or textured redesign.
Green Luger doesn't have a matched knife partner of its own, so the strongest pairing comes down to color. Emerald or Green Elite, both are legendary knives with a green and black blade and a solid black handle, lines up closely with Green Luger's metallic green and dark accents, making it a fitting loadout piece even though the two were never released as an official set.
Green Luger Background
Green Luger's model traces back to the Roblox gear Luger Pistol, an avatar shop item that MM2 retextured for the base Luger and then recolored again for each reskin. Crafting it required players to already own a base Luger, since the recipe consumed one alongside 75 Gifts, and it was one of four limited-time recipes introduced that event, the others producing Chill, Handsaw, and the Red Luger split from this same one.
There's a persistent piece of MM2 history tied to this same crafting pool worth clearing up. A black-colored Luger was allegedly introduced during this same event as a possible reskin, but it never stuck around as a Luger variant. The community account holds that it was later turned into the Glitch2 knife after a duping incident and resurfaced years afterward under a different name, and it isn't counted among Luger's five official reskins today.
