About Eternalcane
Eternalcane is a godly knife that was added to the game on December 6, 2019, during the Christmas Event 2019 as a promotion for Murder Mystery 2's merchandise. Getting it meant buying merch from ShopMM2 and redeeming the code that came with it, there was no in-game box or tier involved. The event ended long ago, the merch sold out, and ShopMM2 itself has since shut down entirely. Trading is now the only way to add Eternalcane to a collection.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Eternalcane has a long, slightly jagged red and white candy cane textured blade with a scratched silver edge. The guard is silver with curved quillons, two sets of horns near the ricasso, and glowing red eyes. The handle sits on a silver prong below the guard, wrapped in gray paracord with glowing red beads woven through it.
Its official Set partner is the godly gun Lugercane, forming the Eternalcane Set. Eternalcane is also part of the Full Eternal Set alongside Eternal, Eternal II, Eternal III, and Eternal IV, the full line of Eternal-themed knives.
Eternalcane Background
Eternalcane is one of several candy cane-themed godlies released across MM2's history, a group that also includes Lugercane, Minty, Peppermint, Candy, Sugar, Gingermint, and Cookiecane, a 2022 addition with its own candy cane spine, handle, and peppermint pommel. Within its own Eternal line, it stands apart as the only holiday-themed version, the other four Eternals were each obtained through separate, non-holiday promotions.
Eternalcane's model is based on the limited Roblox gear Sword of the Eternal Abyss. Its merch-promo origin and low supply made it a frequent target for duping over the years, a pattern that has followed several other MM2 promo items tied to real-world purchases rather than in-game drops.
