About Chroma Elderwood Blade
Chroma Elderwood Blade is the chroma counterpart of the godly knife Elderwood Blade, pulled from the same 2022 Halloween Box during the Halloween Event 2022, which ran from October 16 to November 10, 2022. The box cost 600 Candies to open, and the chroma version sat at just a 0.004% pull chance among its rewards.
It never had a game pass or bundle route; unboxing was always the only way to get it, and now that the event has long ended, trading with other players is the only way to add one to a collection.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Chroma Elderwood Blade takes the shape of a broad, jagged knife with a dark, gnarled wood-like body, a red gem set near the tip, and thin green and blue glowing lines running along the flat of the blade. A full rainbow gradient bleeds along the lower edge, shifting from green and yellow at the top through blue, purple, and red near the guard. The crossguard branches out into twisted, root-like prongs that curl downward, continuing into a black handle.
There's no chroma version of its official Set partner, but the base Elderwood Blade does have one: the gun Elderwood Revolver, which anchors the wider Full Elderwood Set alongside the ancient knife Elderwood Scythe. Both share the same gnarled wood look, making Elderwood Revolver the natural gun pairing here, even without its own chroma counterpart to match.
Chroma Elderwood Blade Background
Chroma Elderwood Blade was the fifth holiday chroma added to MM2 and only the third from a Halloween event, pulled from the 2022 Halloween Box alongside its base counterpart, Elderwood Blade. It completed a Set that had existed for three years before it arrived: Elderwood Revolver and its ancient knife partner Elderwood Scythe both released back in the Halloween Event 2019, and Elderwood Blade only joined them as the third piece of the Full Elderwood Set once the 2022 event added it.
Mass duping later hit Chroma Elderwood Blade hard enough to knock a big chunk off its value. Current trade trackers put it around 38 with Low demand.
