About Cane Knife (2015)
Cane Knife (2015) is a rare knife that was unboxed from the 2015 Christmas Knife Box during the Christmas Event 2015. The box held only knives and cost 30 Gifts to open after the event’s official launch. Rare weapons have a 10% chance of coming out of a box, and Cane shared that rare slot with Ginger Knife (2015). The event ended on January 8, 2016, so the box is gone, and Cane can no longer be unboxed. Trading is the only way to get it now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Cane Knife (2015) has a red and white striped blade that looks like a candy cane. The guard is gold, and the red handle has gold decorations and a green bow tied around it. For a matching loadout, use its pair, Cane Gun (2015). For another option, try Sugar, a red gun with candy-cane stripes and gold details that match Cane’s colors.
Cane Knife (2015) Background
Christmas Event 2015 started on December 14, 2015, as a pre-release, and went fully live on December 19. During the pre-release, each box cost 75 Gifts. After the launch, the price dropped to 30 Gifts. This was the first Christmas event ever in Murder Mystery 2, and the Knife Box and Gun Box were the first and last event boxes to hold only one weapon type.
Here is what else could come out of the Knife Box:
Common: Santa Knife (2015), Elf Knife (2015), Ornament1, and Ornament2
Uncommon: Snowy (Uncommon), Snowman Knife (2015), and Wrapped Knife (2015)
Rare: Ginger Knife (2015) and Cane Knife (2015)
Legendary: Tree Knife (2015)
Godly: Candy
Since Cane sat in the rare tier with only one other knife, it was a fairly common pull compared to Tree and Candy.
