About Boneblade
Boneblade is a godly knife added on October 25, 2018, during Halloween Event 2018, which ran until November 12, 2018. Players unboxed it from the 2018 Halloween Box, which opened with a Skeleton Key bought for 100 Candies, and Boneblade had a 0.2% chance of dropping. The event has ended, so trading is the only way to get Boneblade now. Its chroma version, Chroma Boneblade, dropped from the same box.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Boneblade is a cutlass with a light grey blade marked by nine scratches and two triangle-shaped chips along the edge. Its guard and handle are made of black bones, and a dark red cord is wrapped around the grip. Boneblade is not part of a Set. The Bones Gun (2019) is a good pick to pair with it, since its black-and-bone-white look matches the black bone handle and pale blade.
Boneblade Background
Boneblade's model comes from the Roblox gear Captain Bonegrim Sword, which is the sword that comes with the Captain Bonegrim bundle. The 2018 Halloween Box was the first holiday box to hold both knives and guns. Its two godlies were Boneblade at 0.2% and Chroma Boneblade at 0.004%, and the next rarest item was the legendary Ghost Gun at 5%.
Chroma Boneblade was the first chroma weapon ever released in MM2, and the first holiday chroma. It was one of the items hit hardest by the Duping Glitch of 2019, which happened during Season 1. At one point, Boneblade was worth more than its chroma counterpart. Unlike most weapons, Boneblade can't be broken down at the crafting station.
