About Traveler's Gun
Traveler's Gun is a godly gun that was originally obtainable by unboxing the 2023 Halloween Box during the 2023 Halloween Event. Now that the event has ended, the only way to get it is through trading.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Traveler's Gun takes the shape of a revolver built from twisted brown wood, with dark green vines wrapping around the barrel, grip, and body. The barrel fades from a dark brown base into a glowing yellow-orange tip. A carved jack-o'-lantern sits where the cylinder would be, with a lit, grinning face carved into its orange shell. Small leaf-like points stick out at the front of the barrel and along the vines, giving the whole piece a rough, overgrown look.
Traveler's Gun pairs with the ancient knife Traveler's Axe to form the Traveler Set.
Traveler's Gun Background
Traveler's Gun was designed by IDontHaveAUse. It has a chroma counterpart called Chroma Traveler's Gun, obtainable from the same 2023 Halloween Box, and a legendary counterpart simply named Traveler.
Despite forming a matched set, Traveler's Gun and Traveler's Axe actually came from two different sources during the event. Traveler's Gun was pulled from the 2023 Halloween Box, while Traveler's Axe was earned separately through the battle pass's final tier. Current trade trackers put it around 5,200 with High demand.
Many players wonder what makes the Traveler's Gun the most expensive Godly, and the real reason goes beyond simply being old. Usually, during MM2 events, regular coins are replaced with the event's special currency, such as Candies during Halloween. This currency is used to open event boxes and unlock tiers. However, during this event, both regular coins and Candies could spawn, meaning there were roughly half as many Candies available compared to a typical event. There were also several Candy-spawning bugs that made things even more difficult. As a result, obtaining the event's items was much harder than usual, and many players chose not to grind the event at all. Because of this limited supply, Traveler's Axe and Traveler's Gun are now considered some of the rarest weapons in MM2.
