About Toxic Knife
Toxic Knife is a rare knife that was added during Halloween Event 2018, which began on October 25, 2018, and ended on November 12, 2018. It was the Tier 30 reward in the Main Event, a 100-tier track where every tier cost 100 Candies and the first tier was free, so reaching it took 2,900 Candies. It belongs to the Toxic Set, and trading is the only way to get it now that the event is over.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Toxic Knife has a blade that fades from navy blue into green, like toxic waste, with a gray guard and a solid black handle. Its best pairing is Toxic Gun, the gun it shares the Toxic Set with, which has a green barrel fading into dark turquoise. For a second option, Harvester is a good gun to run with it, because its emerald green shoot line and dark stone and steel crossbow match the knife's green fade and black handle.
Toxic Knife Background
The Toxic Set was split across the event's two ways of earning items. The knife was a Main Event tier reward, while Toxic Gun came from the 2018 Halloween Box, where it sat in the Rare tier with a 10% chance and needed a Skeleton Key 2018 to open. Tier 30 sat right after a Skeleton Key reward at Tier 29, so players who reached the knife already had keys to try for the gun.
The Vampire weapons from the same event worked the other way around, with the Rare knife coming from the box and Vampire Gun (2018) as the Tier 22 reward, so the 2018 event had two Rare sets that each swapped the box and the tier track between their knife and gun.
