About Splitter
Splitter is a vintage knife that was sold in the shop of the original Murder Mystery for 800 Points or 5 Cash. Along with Cowboy, it was the cheapest weapon in that shop. The Murder Mystery 1 shop is gone, so trading is the only way to get Splitter now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Splitter is a dagger with a grey, double-edged blade that has a ridge down the middle. It has a curved gold guard and a red handle with a white band. Splitter belongs to the Vintage Set, so every gun in the Set pairs with it. Laser is a long grey blaster with a black grip that matches the knife's grey blade. America is a revolver covered in red and white stripes with a star-covered blue grip, which picks up the red of the handle. Phaser is a bulky dark gun with orange panels on the barrel. Cowboy is a silver revolver with engraved patterns, and Golden is a gold revolver that matches the knife's gold guard.
Splitter Background
Splitter's model comes from the Roblox item Crimson Double Threat. Before MM2 existed, its shop description read "Makes your knife look cooler." It gave no special ability, unlike Prince, Shadow, and Blood, which each changed how the knife played. At 800 Points or 5 Cash, it cost the same as Cowboy and less than Laser and Ghost, which each cost 1,200 Points or 20 Cash. Blood was the most expensive knife at 4,000 Points or 175 Cash. When Murder Mystery 2 replaced the first game on December 25, 2014, the knives bought in the first game stayed in player inventories under a tier called Classic. The Season 1 update renamed that tier Vintage, and Splitter is one of the ten weapons in it.
