About Sakura
Sakura is the knife half of the pair released for Valentines Event 2023, and it holds the title of the second Valentine's Day themed godly knife in MM2, right after Heartblade. Players could grab it on its own through the Sakura Game pass for 1,699 Robux, or as part of the Sakura Bundle for 3,399 Robux alongside Blossom. Both listings are gone now, and the game pass itself was eventually replaced in the shop by the Rainbow Bundle, so trading is what's left.
Appearance and Best Pairings
The blade takes the form of a tanto katana, white with a long wavy pink spine running down it. Three blooming sakura blossoms make up the guard, and the handle continues the theme with white wrapped in pink laces held by golden pearls, finished off with a pink pommel attached at the bottom through a golden prong.
Sakura is built to go with Blossom as the Sakura Set, so running both together keeps the pink, white, and gold palette consistent across your knife and gun.
Sakura Background
Sakura was designed by IDontHaveAUse alongside its gun counterpart. It also carries its own dedicated effect called Petals, which isn't something every godly weapon in the game gets. It ranks as the second Valentine's Day themed godly knife to be added to MM2, following Heartblade, which keeps this particular theme a lot smaller than staples like Halloween or Christmas that get new weapons almost every year. The game pass listing that originally sold it was eventually pulled from the shop entirely once the event wrapped up.
