About Purple Seer
Purple Seer is a godly knife that can be crafted at the crafting station through the Random Painted Seer recipe, which costs 10 godly metals and 10 godly shards. That means players need to salvage at least ten Seers and another godly weapon to collect the materials, and our guide on how to craft in MM2 covers the full process. The recipe gives a random result, so a craft can also come out as Red Seer, Orange Seer, Yellow Seer, Blue Seer, or the very rare Chroma Seer, and Purple Seer belongs to the Full Seer Set with the other six Seer knives.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Purple Seer has a jagged purple blade covered in black hemispheres of different sizes, and its black guard and handle have neon purple cracks. Four purple overseer eyes with black slit pupils sit on the guard, which is where the name comes from. Xenoshot is a good gun to pair with it, since its barrel is mostly purple with black details running across it, and the rest of the gun is black with purple accents on the handle.
Purple Seer Background
The Random Painted Seer recipe was added in the Season 1 update on May 25, 2019, and it turned the original green Seer into a family of six recolors. Those six are Red Seer, Orange Seer, Yellow Seer, Blue Seer, Purple Seer, and Chroma Seer, which has the slimmest chance of all and is the hardest to craft. Even though the update added them, the Painted Seers show up in a player's inventory under the Classic section instead of the Season 1 section. The same update doubled the cost of the original Seer from 10 to 20 legendary shards.
The model behind the whole line comes from the Roblox gear Overseer Short Sword, a limited item with only 752 copies that is no longer on sale. Since the recipe picks the color at random, players chasing Purple Seer specifically often craft other colors first and then trade for the one they are missing.
