About Icepiercer
Icepiercer is an ancient gun that sat at the very end of the Christmas Event 2022 Battle Pass, a 20 tier track. Climbing the full ladder and unlocking Icepiercer at the top cost 88,300 Snow Tokens total, close to 6,600 Robux if bought outright. The event closed on January 22, 2023, so trading is the only way to pick it up now.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Icepiercer takes the shape of a crossbow, much like Harvester, with an ice themed frame covered in sharp crystal spikes and a light blue shooting trail to match its arrow.
Its closest match is Icebreaker, the ancient knife it partners with alongside the godly gun Iceblaster to form what's known as the Full Ice Set. Players who want a different look can pair it with Icecrusher instead, the Evo knife from that same Christmas Event 2022 lineup, even though it isn't officially part of that Set.
Icepiercer Background
Icepiercer was the second ancient gun added to MM2, arriving about fourteen months after Harvester, with Gingerscope following as the third the next Christmas. Every weapon from that Christmas Event 2022 lineup, tier rewards and Icecrusher included, was designed by IDontHaveAUse.
The event also handed out four reskinned versions of Icepiercer as leaderboard trophies, red for finishing in the top 100 on the Snow Tokens Collected leaderboard, and bronze, silver, and gold for third through first place, which went to StreamSpeed, A_DawgFTW, and HellishDespair.
For its first two days live, Icepiercer showed up in inventories as a godly instead of an ancient because of a display bug, before Nikilis corrected it on December 23rd, 2022.
