About Handsaw
Handsaw is a godly knife that players crafted during the Christmas Event 2015. The recipe needed one Saw knife and 100 Gifts, the event's currency. The event fully released on December 19, 2015, and ended on January 8, 2016. You can read the guide on how to craft in MM2 to see how crafting works today.
The Handsaw recipe was removed when the event ended, so trading is now the only way to get it. Handsaw was one of four craftable godlies in the event, along with Chill, Red Luger, and Green Luger.
Appearance and Best Pairings
Handsaw is a knife with a long, dark gray serrated blade like a real handsaw. It has a dark brown hilt with studs and spikes along the guard, and a gray taped handle. Handsaw is not part of a Set. Pair it with Steel Gun, a gunmetal-gray revolver with a black grip that matches its dark gray blade.
Handsaw Background
Handsaw's model is based on the Roblox gear Saw Sword. It was one of four recipes in the event's crafting tab, and each recipe made a different godly. The recipes were:
Handsaw: Saw + 100 Gifts
Chill: Heat + 100 Gifts
Red Luger: Luger + 75 Gifts (49% chance)
Green Luger: Luger + 75 Gifts (51% chance)
Crafting itself was new in MM2 that year. Christmas Event 2015 was the first event to add craftable recipes to the game. Handsaw needed the most Gifts of any recipe in the tab, tied with Chill, so players had to save up before they could make it. Salvaging Handsaw gives 255 godly shards.
